Transmission networks must keep data moving between substations, data centres and control centres even when coordinated physical and cyber attacks sever the links between them.
Dr. Igor Luzhanskiy, CNI Solutions Lead at Cossack Labs, presented our experience addressing that challenge in the Ukrainian energy grid at the 13th Cyber & SCADA Security & NIS2 Readiness for Power & Utilities Industry 2026 in Amsterdam. He described our approach to OT network virtualisation, which extends OT systems securely over untrusted networks.

Igor also took part in the panel “Securing the Connected Grid: Protecting SCADA, OT and Digital Energy Infrastructure for Cyber Resilience”. The conference brought together utilities, TSOs, DSOs, CISOs and OT engineers to discuss risks to SCADA, OT networks, DER platforms and cross-border grid systems.

Thank you to Prospero Events Group for the opportunity to share our experience, and to everyone who joined the discussion.
